How does the fire detector transmission line work?

The transmission line of the fire detector should choose different colors of insulated wires or cables, and the "ten" line should be red. The "one" wire should be blue, the color of the same purpose wire in the same project should be the same, and the terminal should be labeled. The transmission line has a great influence on the reliability of the whole system, and expands with the increase of the system.

Now according to the different types of detectors, the electrical circuit is divided into: multi-wire system, bus system, and two-wire chain connection method.

(1) The number of multi-wire transmission lines is large, the cost is high, the construction is difficult to calculate the failure rate is high, and it is a knockout commodity;

(2) The number of bus transmission lines is sharply reduced, the cost is low, and the calculated failure rate is greatly reduced. The bus system is divided into two, three and four buses. The two-bus transmission line is better than the three-four-bus transmission line, which is the current mainstream transmission line. The reliability of the system which integrates the linkage control and alarm is the highest by using the two-bus method.

Most of the bus transmission lines use the tree wiring method (that is, the generally referred to as the parallel wiring method), and the advantages are simple, convenient, and easy to expand; But its defects are also clear: once the bus circuit appears short or open, the entire circuit fails. Although some manufacturers now have introduced the method of adding isolators in the loop in order to improve the availability of goods, this is also a last resort. Because this makes the whole system complicated, not easy to use, maintenance, but also add the cost and danger of equipment.

(3) The chain connection method is one of the two wire system methods, the main characteristics are as follows: first, the loop with less line; Second, it can identify the condition of each detector at that time (normal, fault or Fire Alarm level condition); Third, the loop can be connected into a ring type. Therefore, when the circuit presents a short circuit or open circuit fault, the system can ensure that other detectors in the circuit work normally through two-way power supply, and quickly find the fault point, that is, the loop has self-maintenance ability.
